While refraining from regular sports activities, I could avoid too much load on my wrist that would hinder daily life.
After working at a company, I decided to make living as a bodywork therapist.
That was when I learned about the trigger point therapy.
I realized that the damaged muscle is not necessarily the same as the site of pain.
After learning a certain level of treatments, I decided to try playing a racket sport that I once gave up due to the wrist pain.
Because I didn’t have much break from the work, I chose to play the badminton that is not affected by the weather.
When I picked badminton, I told myself, “If I have the pain, I should take care of it by myself.
If I can’t make it better, then I should give it up. I couldn’t have played it to begin with.
After playing the badminton for a while, I felt that annoying pain in my wrist.
It was the symptom that leads to that unbearable wrist pain.
However, this time I paid attention to the forearm, the trigger point.
The pattern of the pain was exactly the same as that used to make me suffer.
With an expectation, I treated it while reining my impatience.
I felt the tingle in my wrist.
This is it!
I was convinced at once.
After that, I continued taking care of the point through trial and error.
I started to play the badminton more often, and put more load on the wrist, but that pain have never recurred.
So I cured it…!
I felt strange because I could recover from that horrible pain with such an ease but searched on the Internet if there is anyone suffering from the same symptom.
I found that there are people having the pain in the same site that is caused by the same move as mine and that there was a name for the symptom.
It was called TFCC tear/injury.
According to the Internet, this symptom is caused by the damaged wrist tendon and is difficult to cure.
Difficult to cure! Instantly I realized that was the exact symptom I had.
If wearing plaster and resting doesn’t make it better, you have to receive a surgery.
I learnt that often times it does not get better even with a surgery.
I found about this symptom after curing myself by taking care of muscles, so I thought that it was no surprise that a surgery couldn’t fix the problem with muscles.
Then I felt obliged to tell people that there is a cure for TFCC injuries. I thought it was my mission.
My first move was to write a blog post.
I wrote that TFCC injuries (the ulnar-side wrist pain) can be cured with a proper care of the muscles.
Nobody was interested in it.
At that time, I was working at a chiropractic clinic in Tokyo but decided to return to my hometown to open my own clinic.
I thought that by doing so, I can say whatever I want to say at my own risk.
It was then that a person who had both TFCC injury and ulnolunate abutment syndrome and was facing a difficult choice of giving up a sport or having a surgery visited me as a patient.
I was sure that I could cure him and didn’t want him to abandon the treatment before the effect becomes apparent, so I offered the treatment for free.
Just to demonstrate the effect of my approach.
He was successfully recovered.
Now that I actually cured a person who had diagnosed to be in need of an operation, I was more convinced.
After that event, I shared a simple treatment method on my webpage.
It’s something like a free sample.
Although that webpage had been ignored, there were more and more visitors and some of them left comments on my blog.
Many of them said that they were cured, but there were also people without success.
Since there is a proper way of applying pressure, I decided to accept house visits.
I have been to some places in Japan and received visits from a far. The number of my patients increased to about 400.
About 80% of them felt improvement of the symptom with just one treatment session.
Even with this rate of success, there are still many people going under surgery.
Why does it happen?
It is because they do not believe.
There are so many positive feedback from the people I treated, but it is a nature of the Internet that it is hard to tell truth from lies.
I want those who suffer from TFCC injuries to take my treatment before undergoing the operation.
I am sad because I am reaching out for them out of goodwill but they do not accept it.
I have cured many people but it doesn’t help me with my mission neither financially nor credibility-wise.
My patients are just like anyone else. There are many of them, but their opinion does not stand out.
So I decided to reach out for the world to find people with great influence with this symptom, and ask them to try my treatment and testify about it to strengthen the credibility of my approach.
I’m a bit scared. What if I cannot achieve anything after such a big mouth?
But I have seen too many people whom I made happy to remain silent.
There is no one better than me in curing TFCC injuries. Who else can do this?
So I decided to talk to the world.
My therapy is valuable to everyone with that awful wrist pain.
But at the moment, my goal is to find potential influencers. I want them to experience my treatment and talk about it.
I believe that it eventually makes me powerful enough to save all the people suffering from TFCC injuries.
